The provider is Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany (hereinafter Hetzner).
For details, please refer to Hetzner’s privacy policy: https://www.hetzner.com/legal/privacy-policy/.
Hetzner is used on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. We have a legitimate interest in presenting our website as reliably as possible. If consent has been requested, processing is carried out exclusively on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR and § 25 (1) TDDDG, insofar as the consent includes the storage of cookies or access to information on the user’s device (e.g. device fingerprinting) within the meaning of the TDDDG. Cloudflare operates a globally distributed content delivery network with DNS. Technically, the transfer of information between your browser and our website is routed through Cloudflare’s network. In particular, your IP address, the date and time of access, the page requested and browser and system information are processed. This enables Cloudflare to analyse the data traffic between your browser and our website and to act as a filter between our servers and potentially malicious data traffic from the internet. In doing so, Cloudflare may also use cookies or other technologies to recognise internet users, but these are used solely for the purpose described here.
The use of Cloudflare is based on our legitimate interest in providing our website as error-free and securely as possible (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR).
The transfer of data to the USA is based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (DPF), under which Cloudflare is certified. The DPF is an agreement between the European Union and the USA intended to ensure compliance with European data protection standards for data processing in the USA. You can view the certification here: https://www.dataprivacyframework.gov/participant/5666. Should the certification lapse, Cloudflare bases the data transfer on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses. A data processing agreement (Data Processing Addendum) is in place with Cloudflare. Further information can be found in Cloudflare’s privacy policy: https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/.

SSL or TLS encryption
For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as orders or enquiries that you send to us as the site operator, this site uses SSL or TLS encryption. 4. Analytics tools
Umami
This website uses the open-source web analytics service Umami. Umami is operated on our own server at stats.manuelschuler.dev, and the collected data is not passed on to third parties. We record the page visited and its title, the date and time of access, the referrer URL, browser, operating system and device type (mobile, tablet or desktop), screen size, browser language, and the approximate location (country, region and city), which is derived from your IP address. Your IP address itself is not stored.
Umami does not set cookies and does not store any information on your device. To group page views into a visit, Umami creates a non-reversible hash from the IP address, the browser identifier and a regularly changing random value. This makes it impossible to recognise you beyond that period or to link the data to you personally. Umami is used on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. We have a legitimate interest in anonymous visitor statistics in order to improve our website.
You can object to this data collection at any time (Art. 21 GDPR). If you enable the “Do Not Track” setting in your browser, Umami will not record your visits. Alternatively, an informal email to us is sufficient.
